Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i just bought a 1999 dakota with a v 6 magnam and i smell antifreeze but does not leak onto the floor or when i turn on the heater. It seams like it takes about 20 to 25 min to warm up to get a little bit of heat. So please help and let me know what could be wrong !!!!!!

If you smell it, it's leaking. The heater box has a drain through the firewall so it doesn't leak on the floor. A long time to heat up is probably a bad thermostat that is stuck open.
