I've been having the same issue with my 2000 Quad Cab. Had a guy stop and help me today - he moved the wiring harnesses and tapped on the EC box above the passenger side front wheel well. Earlier in the day another guy helped by taking all of the fuses out and cleaning the contacts - the fuse box inside the engine compartment. Both times it turned right over - I had to do it myself each way and she started right up. I'm going to have to have a mechanic look at it though - as it happened 4times today alone and I can't have that when traveling with the kids.
