oil pressure gauge stays at zero

I just had the oil changed 3-weeks ago and
now the engine light came on and then I
noticed the the oil pressure light stays on
zero.  What does this mean?

I'm going to assume you checked the oil to make sure it is at an OK level. After that a faulty sending unit springs to mind. Scanning it should provide an answer.
