heater ac problem

i have a 99 dodge avenger v6 es. my heater and ac dont work right. blows fine but i get no heat or ac. (no ac over summer no heat this winter) when i turn the heat on it makes a loud squeel that sounds like  a belt. this will go away if i push the gas sometimes. also goes away if i shut of heater. every once in awhile the heat will start working but not very often. please help. any ideas?

the bearing in ur blower motor might be bad have that checked also ur heater core checked as welll mine has a close issue but i have ac and heat but it goes from slowly blowing to when i give it gas full out blowing in ur face. lol
