Brake booster removal

Asked by Moonman101 Oct 19, 2014 at 10:05 AM about the 1964 Lincoln Continental Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't seem to figure out how to get my brake booster out of my 1964 Continental. All the
bolts are out but I can't get the arm that attaches to the brake pedal off. There seems to
be a C clip one one side? The factory diagram kind of shows a screw but each end of the
rod holding it on the pedal shaft seems to be round and not a screw head.
Advice?

Moon, go to YouTube and watch a video on how to get the job done. It's a lot easier to do it that way then to try to explain it here.
