can you tell me exactly how to find the oriface tube filter for a/c system?

it  stopped blowing out cold air although blower is running. mechanic checked pressure yesterday and said it was fine. it was ok yesterday but It seemed a bit too slow to cool vehicle therefore the check. now today it wouldn't blow cold at all but a few times it felt like it cooled down for a few seconds then back to nothing again. perhaps filter is clogging?
