How can I get my 2013 Town & Country Nav maps updated?

Asked by NoChryslers Jul 23, 2016 at 02:47 PM about the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country Touring-L FWD

Question type: General

Bought a pre-owned 2013 T&C Touring L with Navigation and the maps are way out of date.  Chrysler doesn't sell map updates and doesn't want to hear about problems with that.  Navteq is forbidden by Chrysler to sell me the map updates via telephone - I have to go through a special procedure that involves having the radio/nav write Nav info to a USB stick and then have that analyzed by Navteq online.  But, the 430N RHB radio (at latest software level) won't write the data to the USB stick.  Navteq's only suggestions: try a different stick.  Tried 6 different sticks - no dice.  Others have reported same problem.  Is there a work-around?  I believe this problem applies only to the 2013 with RHB version of the radio.

Yes, have passed through that site many times. If you want to see the problem, go there and select 2013 T&C and select the RHB radio option. Then enter this 10 digit ID: 3859756794. Then do the process again selecting the RHR radio and see the difference. Have been to every T&C forum I could find and have called all the Chrysler and Navteq support lines.
