Do headlights come on when starting 2013 Chrysler van

When starting the car are my headlights supposed to come on when I start my
2013 Chrysler town and country van?

They will only come on if the light switch is in auto mode and when it's dark. They will not come on during daylight when switch is in automatic mode.

Right. Now you may have DRL's but they will only come on when you are in any gear except park.
