Oil light stuck on

Oil light stays on had oil change and the.
Light still. Remains on tried disconnecting
battery and reconnect it that. Didn't work
either so how do I get the oil light to go off

Check oil pressure with manual gauge. If pressure reads good, replace oil sending unit
