Why does the ac and heat blow out of the defrost top and bottom?

Asked by Guru9NJNT4 Feb 14, 2022 at 04:24 PM about the 2013 Dodge Journey SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Dodge journey and the ac and heat blows out the defrost top and
bottom vents, but not thru the regular ac vents. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like it could be a stuck blend air door or servo motor. A shop will need to pull the HVAC codes and run diagnostics.
