Why will my 2000 Durango (5.2L) not start after replacing the radiator?

It has nothing to do with the radiator, I know that much. Either something was disconnected while working on the car or it is just a coincidence.

My wife wrecked the truck which cracked the radiator. She had a water jug in the truck, poured it into the radiator to get the truck home. The truck ran hot but the temperature gauge never got completely over to the red. All I did was replace the radiator and condensing unit. Now the truck turns over but will not start.

It helps when you give the complete information. Overheating the truck may have fried the engine. It the coolant level is too low then the gauge will not read accurately.
