Why won't my 2000 Durango start? It's not the battery and not starter but it just makes a ticking sound, tick tick tick tick when I try to turn it over?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Durango has the same
problem. My turn the engine over it just
goes tick tick tick tick tick tick no matter
how strong my battery is it's always the
same. I don't believe it's the starter and I
don't believe it's the battery. If anybody
has any idea or had the same problem
please let me know. Thank you

I have a 2000 Durango with exactly the same problem. Even pulled the starter out and had it tested and it was fine. Have a thousand CCA marine battery brand new and it still has the same problem did you ever figure it out yet?
