Are the seats locked from tilting forward?

Asked by kar4me Feb 16, 2015 at 01:28 AM about the 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary Edition RWD

Question type: General

Hello,
I have tried a thunderbird 2005 for the first time and noticed that both seats were not
locked and could tilt forward. In the cars I drove before, the seats are locked in place
to not tilt forward unless you press a release lever on its side. Could someone with a
Thunderbird 2005 indicate if their seats are the same or if they lock? I am wondering if
the seats are broken in the car I tried??
BTW the electric positioning worked fine and the reclining lever worked fine.
thank you

UPON DRIVIN THE CAR THEY MIGHT LOCK JUST LIKE WHEN YOU PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE AND THE CAR LOCKS WHEN YOU HIT A CERTAIN SPEED
