Did you notice any of the accessories not working? Such as the lights dimming, A/C or heat not blowing hard out the vents? Radio/Stereo not working? If so, it is most likely the alternator. The car has electronic multi port fuel injection. If the alt is out, the fuel injectors do not inject fuel into the engine to keep the car running. You can have the alternator tested at any auto parts store (usually for free). Best of luck!
