Will it hurt anything if a quarter slide inside my 2013 honda accord automatic shifter?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A quarter slide inside the front of the gear shifter on my 2013 Honda Accord today. I do
not hear a rattle and can shift my car fine, at least now.  Where did it go and will it
eventually keep my car from shifting? If you could please answer, I'm very worried!!!

If you're worried about it getting caught up in your shifter linkage, then I would look into taking the console apart and remove it. I'm not going to tell you it can't happen, but it's unlikely. I'm sure the quarter is resting quietly on the floor in a corner somewhere :)
