2013 RAV 4 slipping from start position

Asked by SacGal02 Aug 28, 2015 at 05:34 PM about the 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2013 RAV 4 has 25K miles: slipping from park to Drive.  Dealership offering to
replace transmission, all under warranty.
I just read about the ECM problem ten years ago -
I need some advice asap!

10 years ago the Rav4 was a Corolla crossover, true, and there was a recall for the ECU. But that problem has been corrected. So if the dealer has offered to replace transmission under warranty, allow them to do so and you should be good to go.
