Battery or altenator?

Asked by HSJLCD20 Oct 12, 2020 at 08:48 PM about the 2013 Kia Sorento LX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2013 Kia Sorento LX (3rd row seats) just
had TPMS Light come on blinking, ESC
Indicator, ABS warning, 4WD system
warning, DBC indicator and charge
system lights all come on (solid) at the
same time.

Pulled onto side road, turned off car &
called AAA. Car was clicking when i
tried to restart but after a few mins
started up w/just Charge System
warning on - then the rest came back on
maybe a minute later.

Waiting for roadside to jump car,
wondering whats gonna need to be
replaced and how much its gonna cost?
:(

Thankfully its your BATTERY I bet! This happened to me last weekend. Warning lights started coming on and I was worried it was something BIG! It was also clicking, etc. I called the tow co and they came and simply jumped me and said "drive straight to autozone, they install batteries with purchase" Come to find out, I still had my ORIGINAL kia battery! I have nearly 80,000 miles! Good luck!
