Is the vehicle over-heating? How hot does it get in degrees F? A lot of makes and models the computer can shut off the ac compressor, if it thinks the engine is over-loading or over-heating. Do you spend a lot of time idling in traffic--hot days--hvac on? Any applicable trouble codes? As far as how to fix, I'd have to look at. As far as over-heating, check the thermostat--water pump--radiator fan--coolant flow through radiator, cool engine. I'm sure I'm leaving something out? good luck

It means what it says. You should have the engine cooling system serviced.
