Transmission ,test,speed,etc

I have a 01 dakota  automatic 2wd 3.9.
I wanted to know if I should adjust the bands ,front an
rear,when changing transmission fluid an filter.And
how do I know if they need it or not?

I put a overdrive unit in an adjusted the rear ,4 turns . Wondering if I'd need to adjust front band.

Also what rpm should it be at with each shift point ? 1700rpm for example ,at 1st to second. An does 1st gear change at 15mph ,then 2nd 25,3rd 35? Thanks
