How can I get rid of the deep scratches on my car?

Someone backed scratched my car and lefty rather large, fairly deep scratches  
in the paint. I wanted to attempt this repair myself. What would you suggest in
terms of products and techniques. Any help would be appreciated.

You can try to buff it out but deep scratches mean repainting that part of the car. To buff that you need a professional type random orbital buffer and the proper compounds. Try Meguiar's.

Youtube search ChrisFix, he had some new videos regarding a vandalized and scratched up Susan; and one of his latest video is about fixing deep scratches.
