If it's constantly swerving or drifting you may have one or more bad tie rod ends, a bad alignment, sway links, bad sway bar bushing, ball joint(s), loose steering linkages. It'll need a thorough inspection to really determine what's going on. Are there any noises coming from the front end? Squeaking, groaning, rubbing sounds? Do the tires display uneven wear? BTW if you change a tie rod end, you need to get an alignment afterwards.
