is there a fues for the lisence plate light on my 2013 ford taurus

Everything is on a fuse. Check them and the rest of the wire harness leading to it.

Check for power in the socket for the bulbs, and then follow the wiring back to a plugin and check at the plugin. The license plate light is on the running lights circuit.

Check your fuse box....usually under the dash. That particular fuse will control more than just the license plate bulb that is on that wiring harness.
