take a rubber mallet and hit the top of the key not crazy hard but a good shot once or twice and see if it releases.then buy a new lock cylinder.
Is there an idiot light on the dash which tells you to "place the shift in park"? There are known issues with the switch connected to the shifter. Surf the net for further info.
If I disconnect the battery will I be able to remove the ignition key?
