Why are the outside door handles different on a 2013 Ford Edge SEL?

I wanted to buy chrome door handle covers for a 2013 Ford Edge SEL. They tell me they are only available for the SE,Limited and Sport models. What is the differance?

The 2013 Ford Edge comes with two types of handle covers DH68555B for a car with no smart key entry system, or DH68555S for a car with the smart key entry. We have both instock. You just have to know if your car has a smart key or not. Auto Chrome Direct 855-257-8684 www.autochromedirect.com
