Engine fault lite

Suv bucks while slow acceleration.  A
message pops up service engine now.  And
lite was little yellow I in a box. Its the 2.0
ecoboost.   Any idea what could cause this

Transmission torque converter. Need transmission rebuilt. $2400 at ez transmission located in Columbus Ohio Picked mine up today
