Battery is fine alternator is fine starter is fine can't seem to figure out why it won't start the battery is 6 months old and it doesn't even start with a jump and you can take the hot plug off the battery and connect it right to the jumper cable and it still won't start

When it does start and you start driving it won't shift right and it just drives really jerky if you pull over turn it off start back up it's fine like nothing ever happened

I'm having a similar issue with my 2016 ford fusion. The car won't start, but as soon as I hook the jumper cables up to it it'll start right up. I took the car down to have them test the battery, the battery came back prefect. I'm a bit stumped myself, it doesn't act like its a starter issue, it doesn't even try to turn over it just kills all the lights. I was thinking it was a bad cell. If the car battery it dead again I will just take the battery up to the store and have them check it. If the battery still shows that it is good then I'll end up looking at the starter. I have no check engine light on, or battery not charging light. If it sets more than an hour it will need jumped again. Time will tell. I will update tomorrow after I test the battery again

It was the battery, I brought the battery in by itself without jumping it to have them test it. It was bad,

I have a 2016 Ford Fusion SE. I’m having the same issue it only happens in the mornings when it’s cold out. All my lights come on. I’ve taken it to the dealership and everything turns out fine no mechanic issues. I was told it may be the starter relay so I’ve replaced it today so I’ll see if that works. But ford needs to be aware of this issue because it may be a recall soon.

I’m having the same issues with my Ford Fusion. I’ve gotten a new battery and a starter ( don’t ask me why lol ) did nothing in the mornings it will not start . When I try to turn it on there are no nosies no clicks . At times the lights will come on radio but nothing else . Also at night my alarm goes off even when I stop the alarm from going off the lights blink and blink so I unattach my battery . It’s ridiculous that it’s so many forums with all of us having the same issues and Ford isn’t picking up on this
