engine idle rough

at idle engine drops from 1500 rpm to 300 or 400 rpm

i have already tried some fuel jet cleaner and gas treatments. the sparkplugs appear to be clean. and plug wires are in good shap but i didnt change to plugs or wires.

more than likely its the timing chain it might have to be reset which if u dont go to a mechanic that u know and trust it can get pretty pricey

It's not the timing chain... What engine do you have? It's probably the IAC, idle air control valve... it's either damaged or dirty. You can clean it relatively easily, just don't move the plunger when handling it
