Upgrading an 02 durango engine

I'm trying to rebuild an 02 durango but
don't know that much about cars and was
wondering what kind of engine should I get
to replace my 4.7 v8?

The easiest option is to replace it with what you have. The expensive option is to swap in a Hemi, and they do make kits for that, but you'll be swapping a lot more than just the engine.
