In gear when stepping on the gas for a fast start, it will go above the 4-4.5 rpm mark without any type of fluctuations or hesitations. Gas mileage has remained constant, there has not been any dip in gas usage. Car rpm's work fine while in gear but sputters around 4-4.5 rpm when revved in neutral.
When i revv my 2012 Subaru outback engine in neutral it sputters back and forth around 4-4.5 rpm
