How do I get my dome light to turn off in my 2012 F-150?

my dome lights don't turn off until after 10 min. And the sensor says that my back left
door is open and the doors don't lock when I start to drive

Check the overhead switch on the dome light first. My brother had the same problem with his 2015. The problem was with the switch attached. The "sweet spot" for the "off" position is tiny.
