My cruise control stopped working and my check engine light came on 2 days ago.

Could this be related? Is the cruise control on the same fuse as some portion of the emission control system?

This is Bruce Bernel. I still don't know about the fuse but about a week after the problem appeared, it all started working right again. Any ideas?

When the CEL is on the cruise is disabled.
