2012 Jeep Patriot

The radio in my 2012 patriot randomly stopped
working. I am getting nothing on AM/FM but when
I put in a CD or aux, it plays but cuts out for a few
seconds and then comes back. On AM/FM I am
unable to control the volume, I’m only able to scroll
through stations. Any ideas on what this could
be??

I have same problem now for the last 3-4 days. I read the circuit board craps out and supposedly isn’t fixable.

Same problem with 2013 Patriot. AM went out in about 2018. FM went out within a few more months. CD player cuts in and out. Lemon audio system. Hope they improved it for newer ones.
