Condenser has a bad leak spraying out near bottom of condenser, should I assume it is empty?

The AC systems going to have to evacuated so it doesn't mater if you assume its empty.. spraying now empty! once a system is leaking its only matter of time the Freon is gone sooner than later.

Yes it is likely empty. The leaking part needs to be replaced along with the receiver dryer and the system needs to be put on a vacuum and then recharged. It is NOT freon it is refrigerant or R134a.
