Why do some wheels have 2 wheel weights vs 1?

I bought some used wheels and tires and was
wondering why 2 of the wheels have 2 wheels weights
and the other 2 wheels have 1 wheel weight? And
where would I put the wheels front or back according
to the weights?

If the person that sold you the set was an actual truck guy they would have marked where each tire was in the rig, for instance LF for left front or RR for right rear. Weights have no bearing on front or rear only the balance of the tire and wheel.

Look for any uneven wear , those were probably on the front , you can put them on the back and have the front end checked when you get a chance
Generally, one weight corrects static imbalance, and the other, if there, corrects dynamic imbalance. And in this case, you might find another weight on the inside side of the rim. It might be that the two rims with only one weight had no dynamic problem..... But buying used rims/tires, I wouldn't be confident in what you get, tires lose balance over time, and especially on trucks, I'd rebalance tires every twelve thousand miles or so. anyway.. You should have these rebalanced.
