If you start the engine and let it run ......do both cooling fans run? Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine is running?

The fan stops running when the car is running there are no warning lights or flashing symbols

Try this. Start the engine and let it run until the engine warms up. Look at the Temp Gauge on the dash. Note...what does it read? Shut the engine off. Do the fans run? Turn the key back on without the engine running. What does the Temp Ga. read? Are the fans running...key on engine off?

the remotes don't work now either. the alarm went off on Saturday night we turned it off it went off Sunday again then Monday morning it was locked down my husband changed the battery the remote worked everything worked the next day is when it started to act up. the running lights wouldn't shut off and of course the fan running, they got the lights working now it's the fan and the reotes

Hmmm....interesting. when you folks changed the battery...did you have any miss...steps during the procedure...like maybe a few sparks were created here or t.here?

Ok...lets try this. Under the hood on the driver side there should be a Fuse/relay box. Lift the cover and check the underside of this cover for fuse and relay locations. Is there a Fan relay? Wiggle and pull the relay out. Do the fans stop running with the Key off engine not running. If you do not feel comfortable doing this test...better to let a Pro do it.

BTW....Forgot to ask. Start the engine up. Turn on the AC MAX. Does the AC System blow cold air?
