Questions about TSB 0802103

Asked by Ferendon Oct 14, 2008 at 06:34 PM about the 2003 Dodge Caravan SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ABS, Brake, and 'Trac Off' lights are illuminated. This is in line with TSB 0802103, but the local Dodge dealer won't tell me anything more than "Bring it in, and we'll diagnose it for $95." I'm very mechanically inclined, and I'm also an MECP certified electronics technician. Are there any recommended repair procedures, or DIY solutions I can try before spendings tons of money at the stealership?

that tsb has been revised to include the vta light [viecal theft alarm] if this light is also on they need to reprogam unit u can try disconecting battery then press brake pedal will suck any power saved in computer should reset lights wont fix anything their is another tsb for rear wheel speed sensors if the lights come back on as soon as u drive it mostlikly sensor but if they come on as soon as you start problems in abs computer that they may be able to reprogram

That TSB refers to vehicles without ABS, illuminating those lights, and my van doesn't have ABS. The lights come on as soon as I start the car, and I reset the ECU last night, to no avail.
