White smoke on my bmw x5m e70 s63

I recently replaced my pc valve same can say oil
separators. The cars exhaust was oily and would
smoke when idling to long. After replacing this
valve the exhaust is no longer oily but the car is
still smoking when idling. Any tips are any one that
had experienced the same problem.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news... White smoke is an indication that coolant is leaking into the cylinders and being burned. That could be caused by a blown head gasket, cracked head, or cracked block. You should get it checked out before driving it too much as the problem will likely get worse and could ruin the engine.

On that vehicle, the likely cause the crankcase ventilation system. Check all of your hoses. inexpensive fix, but takes time to replace. It is not likely a head gasket or piston rings. common isses.
