1987 dodge d150 dying at highway speeds

I've got a 97 dodge d150... itll idle and
drive perfectly fine but when I get on the
highway it'll drive good for about five
minutes at highway speed but then it'll
die.. so I have to wait about 5 minutes start
it again and it'll work for another-0 minutes
or so... has anyone had the same problem
before??

you might want to check your cat- converter.when it warms up, t will plug because of expanding if it is bad.

Same model and year and I can’t even make it past 60 but I’ve heard it could be the carb
