How do

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi

I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 2012  3.6l petrol with 75 000km
on the clock, and took it off road and engaged low range but now the
problem is that I cannot get it off this gear selection. I had to drive it back to
town on this gear. Is there anything I can do at home before taking it to the
dealer?

Please help

Regards

Bheki

Sometimes you can get it out of four wheel drive by driving it back and forth slowly a little. Does your car have the manual transfer case or is it actuated with a switch on the dash? If it is the floor shift type transfer case sometimes you have to move the car a little forwards or backwards and it can take a lot of force to move the lever.
