I just changed an alternator on my 2004 Dodge Neon and now having problems like shuddering and flickering lights. Draining of the battery has also occurred but Have since put a New battery in.?

sounds like the wiring on the back of the alternator are loose check this out before going any further. the flashing of the lights could be the wiring making some times contact.

My husband tightened the ground wire on the starter and I just drove it for about 35 mins around town with many stop and goes. Now it acted funny first off leaving home but within few mins was running just fine now. Will keep an eye on this for further malfunctions. .......thanks
