The Purge Valve Canister is a solenoid valve that is controlled by the on-board computer that allows stored fuel vapors in the charcoal canister to be recycled back into the engine combustion process $15-20.00

P0441 indicates that there is an issue with the Evaporative Emissions System. It'll often appear with P0455. The Dakota's ECM will trigger this code when it detects that the vacuum level in the Purge System is not within the proper specifications.
