Stalls

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2004 Dakota 3.7v6. Starts fine then stalls when I
put it into gear. Also stalls when stopping at red
light.

sounds like a vacuum leak, try spraying brake cleaner around intake manifold and any vacuum lines don't forget the air intake hose. do this while the engine is running,if you have a leak the engine will react while your spraying.
