Mine does the same thing my radio,CD,satellite radio, radio display on my screen that it's operational but no sound comes from my speakers.I know the speakers ain't blown or the audio output from the radio itself isn't the problem.I believe the factory amplifier is blown which sucks cause my warranty ran out on my 2011 accord. That's crazy my car 3years old and already have no damn sound.I wonder if you buy a amplifier from the junkyard does it have to be programmed to work in your car.I just wanna hook it up put in my code and listen to my music is that too much to all for.

Ok :Here is your problem. The display is connected to the radio through a multi pin connection. This connection is not locked in, it is held by the bracket mounting the radio base to back of the display that also has the A/C controls. To correct this take out the display assembly. With the key on and the radio on loosen the screws holding the two together. They don't need to move much. I know this my wife's 2003 has same problem. What happens is the mounts pull this connection apart. When this happens you have volume up but no sound. I am going to added spacer washers under the brackets at the rear of the radio to prevent this movement, the screws are going to pull up on the radio base at the rear.
