2004 Honda Accord ex power window problem. I have replaced both driver and passenger side motors. The motors were working fine for 3 months now. The drivers side began to malfunction it has stopped

The mechanism is either worn or the motor itself shot... Window motors use a "current limit" feature that shuts the motor off if it draws too much current (like extreme top or bottom) the motor may be so worn that it draws too much current ... that's why when you "help it along" it works

Most meters have a feature that reads current ... hook it up and you can tell right away what the motor is drawing ,,, the mechanism may be worn

Thanks Tom I might have a warranty on the motor I bought it from rock auto online. It does make complete sense it is struggling to work.
