2005 Dodge Stratus code P0340

Intermittent check engine light come on and motor seems
to chug or pull back. Once above 25 mph is fine. Code:
P0340. Woman, don’t want mechanic to run up high
repairs

That code is for the Camshaft position sensor circuit fault meaning it's probably the sensor itself that's the issue based on your description of what the car is doing. Less likely is that your mechanical timing is out

I changed it the camshaft position sensor. Two days later the engine light was back on and the code read p0340. What else can it be?

Po340 is the camshaft it’s self the my car is doing the same chugs a few times but it means your camshaft is fucked
