I have a 1985 318i. The horn goes off by itself while driving. Any suggestions?

IT'S IN YOUR STEERING COLUMN AT THE CONTROLS. MUST REMOVE STEERING WHEEL AND REPLACE THE BRASS FITTING BECAUSE IT'S EITHER BENT OR ? 2 HOURS PLUS PART @ ABOUT $40. GOOD LUCK!

Also check your wiring connections. Sometimes a loose terminal can wiggle and arc causing the horn to sound. Just troubleshooting.
