EMERGENCY BRAKE DASH LIGHT IS ON

2012 JEEP LIBERTY - EMERGENCY BRAKE DASH LIGHT HAS COME ON; I TOOK IT TO GET THE OIL CHANGED AND ASKED THE TECH TO CHECK THE LEVEL ON THE BRAKE FLUID.  HE CAME BACK AND TOLD ME THAT I HAVE A TWO COMPARTMENT RESERVOIR AND ONE SIDE IS COMPLETELY FULL AND THE OTHER SIDE IS COMPLETELY EMPTY!  HE WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS ISSUE SO HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
