I have a grand Jeep limited cheokee and
my steering wheel shakes if I go over 40
mph

First thing would be to check the wheel balance. It could also be a bent/damaged wheel. Jeeps are also know for something called a 'Jeep death wobble' however, that is usually on Wrangler models. It is caused by several items like worn front end parts (tie rod ends, ball joints, oversize wheels/tires, etc.)
