I am curious to see if it does because I've been thinking of doing that with my 95. As soon as you get an answer, please let me know!

I know you asked this question about 2 years ago, but I'm currently undertaking this same project. Yes, it is possible. You can put the Neon SRT-4 motor in the auto tranny Neons and they use the exact same motor mounts. You will also need the Engine Wire Harness for the Neon SRT-4 as well. The only trick is the PCM. You will need the PCM from an automatic transmission Chrysler PT Cruiser GT, since that is the only PCM that is mapped for the SRT-4 Engine and the exact same Ultradrive 41TE Transmission found in the automatic Neons. One more tip: if you use the 03 Neon SRT motor, use the 03-05 PT Cruiser GT PCM. If you use the 04- 05 Neon SRT Motor, use the 06-10 PT Cruiser GT PCM, that way the output ratings will match. Hope this helps
