2012 Jetta will not shift out of park

I have a 2012 Jetta , my low beams are out ,
replaced bulbs , still not working . Auto zone told
me it may be the fuses . Came home took out 15
amp & 10 amp fuses placed them back into same
slot , now car will not shift out of park . On my dash
there is the engine light , tire light & car slipping light
on . Car will not shift out of park . Please help

While it’s hard to say exactly I would try to see if there’s a low beam relay for the lights or could be the selector switch that toggles high and low beams. Also could be the lead light switch itself. But like I said it’s hard to say without looking at it. Best of luck hope this helps
As to why the car won’t shift from park hey it’s a Jetta. They have tons of issues ranging from bad valve bodies inside the trans. Could be anything but on a online forum it’s really hard to say without a looksie. Tire light means your tire pressure is low. And the wrench light means there’s a problem. The code will most likely say something to the effect of non matching speeds. Which may mean transmission range sensor or speed sensor. Haven’t had a Jetta in a while but again hope it helps.
